My story

I kept meeting different versions of myself.

Each one was certain she was seeing life clearly. I became curious about what had taught her to see it that way.

Before the book had a title

It began with a question I could not leave alone.

I did not write this book because I had everything figured out. I wrote it because I began noticing experiences that looked different on the surface but felt strangely familiar beneath.

The people changed. The circumstances changed. Yet somehow I kept arriving at the same emotional place. I could recognize a pattern, know it was hurting me, and still repeat it.

For a long time, I explained those moments by looking at what was happening around me. Sometimes those explanations were valid. They still could not explain why the same fear or insecurity returned when the details were completely different.

Eventually, I became more interested in the part I had been overlooking. What was happening within me?

The turning point

I started watching what happened before the reaction took over.

A small change in someone's tone could create a feeling in my body. A delayed reply could become a story before I knew why the person had not answered. Sometimes I understood logically that nothing serious had happened, yet my body seemed unconvinced.

That fascinated me. My reactions often began before I had consciously decided what anything meant. Some had been repeated so often that they felt like personality. My fears felt believable because I had felt them many times before.

A feeling can be real without telling the whole story.

The lives within one life

I do not see my old selves as mistakes anymore.

There have been versions of me who believed completely different things about love, success, spirituality, relationships, money, belonging, and who I was supposed to become. Each one thought she was seeing reality clearly.

Looking back, I can see that every version was responding to what she knew, what she feared, what she had lived through, and what she believed would keep her safe.

I no longer need to reject those versions to grow beyond them. They carried me until I had enough awareness to choose differently. That is what multiple realities came to mean for me.

We can live in the same world and experience it through a new inner landscape. Sometimes the life around us has not changed yet, but the person meeting it has.

The question that changed the work

I stopped asking, “What is wrong with me?”

I began asking, “What shaped me?”

That question did not excuse my choices or erase their consequences. It gave me a more honest place to begin. Instead of judging the reaction alone, I could look at where it came from, what it had once protected, and whether I still needed it now.

Where the work lives now

The questions eventually moved off the page.

Today, I write and guide private experiences at Ananda Ashram Wellness Vibe in the mountains of Siquijor. The setting is different, but the heart of the work remains the same: slowing down enough to notice what has been happening automatically.

I do not see myself as someone who fixes people. I believe people deserve a space where they do not have to perform, defend, or rush toward an answer. Sometimes being witnessed without judgment is what allows a different truth to surface.

What guides me

A few things I keep returning to.

01

You were never broken

Many of the parts we judge began as intelligent ways of adapting, protecting ourselves, or finding belonging.

02

Curiosity creates space

The moment we become curious about a reaction, we are no longer completely inside it. We have somewhere else to look.

03

Your reality is not the whole reality

What you feel matters. It can be deeply real without being the only possible meaning of what happened.

04

Awareness gives us another option

Change does not always begin with a dramatic breakthrough. Sometimes it begins by noticing one thought before following it.

Still becoming

This story is not about becoming a completely different person.

It is about becoming conscious enough to recognize when an old version of you is speaking, and giving yourself the chance to answer from where you are now. That is the journey behind Decode Multiple Realities.
